Christine Davis is an author, publisher and animal lover. Jill Davis retired early last year from office life as the assistant to the president of an HMO. She then explored her writing talent by taking writing classes and writing poetry and essays. Her favorite poem was just published in a chapbook. She has also written a short children's book and is in the process of trying to get published. Alberta James Daw is a writer and an artist who lives in Kansas City, Missouri with her architect husband. She is the current Art Editor for Potpourri, a literary magazine. Kristine Meldrum Denholm is a writer, editor, and media relations specialist. After graduating with honors from Duquesne University, she worked for the Department of Treasury's Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms in Washington, DC. and was editor-in-chief and reporter for the monthly publication Inside ATF; she has also served as a speechwriter to ATF's director and worked extensively with the media. Jennifer Dobrenski has been teaching elementary school since 1996. She is currently teaching internationally and lives with her husband in Basel, Switzerland. Ellen Durr lives in the mountains of western Maryland where she writes and works as a training consultant. Barbara Ann Dush writes non-fiction based on her family experiences growing up in Clarks, Nebraska. Her award-winning newspaper stories have ranged from a focus on prisoner of war veterans, to a series on Holocaust survivors, and to a series on the homeless. Carol F. Fantelli was born in Cleveland, Ohio and has lived in Raleigh, North Carolina since 1974. She received her bachelor’s degree in art from Meredith College, in 1977 and began her career as a Forensic Facial Reconstruction Artist in 1982 working with various law enforcement agencies by reconstructing the faces of victims for identification purposes. Lyssa Friedman is a freelance writer living in Mill Valley, California. As a teenager, she learned that cars, books, music played loud and the sound of the ocean contribute meaning to life. It wasn't until she grew up, though, that she learned the value of showing up on time and studying algebra.
